What we collect, and why
The data this website collects is the email address you choose to leave in the “Notify me” form — together with which form you used and, if you say so, whether you are a couple or a vendor. We use it for one purpose: to email you when The Wed Portal opens. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form.
If a page breaks in your browser, an automatic report reaches us with the error message and the page address: it exists to get the page fixed, and it carries no name of yours.
No cookies, and the one third party
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers. Your light/dark theme preference is stored only in your own browser (local storage) and never leaves your device.
One thing should be said though: the page fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your IP address reaches Google when you open the site. It is the only third-party request this website makes.
How long we keep your email
Until the launch email is sent, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. To be removed at any time, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
Where your data lives
Waitlist emails are stored on our own servers in the European Union (Germany). They are not sold, shared or transferred to third parties; the only processor involved is our email delivery provider, used to send you the launch notification.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. One email to [email protected] is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).
